1960's GLEN-L MISSILE- originally built by the father in the 1960's this boat was restored by the family to present to him before his passing.  No money spared to make this one spectacular boat - the pictures do not do it justice and it really should be seen to be appreciate the little touches that went into its transformation.  Originally powered by a rear mounted American Motors V8 marine conversion it was replaced by a newer custom built GM 350 utilizing the original Velvet Drive transmission and original V-Drive unit.  The plywood & glassed hull was in decent condition but was sent to a fiberglass shop to be re-gelcoated in Black this time instead of white.  A complete new Mahogany deck with veneers specially ordered from Europe was installed - book matched front to rear and in the cockpit area and with solid new mahogany covering boards and interior components.  The family wanted a clean look with no exposed hardware.  New side mount stainless fuel tanks were fabricated and a complete new interior fashioned.  Attention to detail included matching the contour of the original dash in the top of the seat backs.  Grated flooring was added in the rear cockpit and the upholstered side panels had the family crest stitched into them for that personal touch.  New Stewart Warner 'Wings' style gauges were added to the custom designed Dash and center console along with aircraft style toggle switches and a custom gear shift lever.  The original foot pedal throttle was retained and a detachable race car style Steering Wheel was installed along with new steering system to replace the original cable system. The final touch was cockpit heating for cool evening cruising!!

A simply stunning boat and was a lot of fun for us to do as it allowed us to use our creative talents.
